Experiential Campaigns + Content Production
As Lead Producer at Because Creative Experiences, I worked with Dutch brand Genever to launch this historical spirit within the United States in four major American markets. This traveling activation has already been to New Orleans for Tales of the Cocktail, Bev Con in Los Angeles, Portland Cocktail week, and will be making its way San Antonio Cocktail Conference early next year. As production lead, I produced all elements of this experience from ideation, strategy, fabrication, location selection, art direction, prop sourcing, contracting, video/photo, and ultimately the carting/shipping of all elements. The sizzle below highlights our activation in New Orleans.
While producing the Genever campaign, I was simultaneously tasked with creating a dynamic experience for the Dropbox annual employee-recognition event both in New York and Seattle. As production lead, I produced all elements of each event, including a sizzle video documenting the festivities.
I (with partner Matt Dugas as Make The Work) strategize, produce, and direct both filmed content and activations for brands. Using strategic thinking and open communication with our clients, Make The Work is focused on making content and experiences that elevate brands and excite consumers. Our combined backgrounds in advertising, entertainment, visual art, and performance bring ideas to life.
Make The Work was brought in as a collaborative partner to create, strategize, and shoot original content during the live show. This was used for media coverage, future marketing and promotions, social channels, internal sizzles, and artist reels. MTW directed a 10 person crew to capture and deliver those unforgettable moments that occur when you see your favorite star perform for the first time.
SAMSUNG GALAXY LAUNCH
Make The Work collaborated with Good Sense & Co. to produce + direct a series of title sequences for the Samsung x Casey Neistat Evening entitled “The Rest of Us”, a celebration of a new generation of creators using cutting-edge mobile products and technology to tell their stories.
BIG ELM BREWERY
Make The Work collaborated with Big Elm to develop the brand’s values, messaging, and create content for the newly-launched brewery. Lifestyle photography, short videos for social, and positioning were all part of the project.
Trivet foods brought Make The Work in to advise on strategy and direction for the brand’s voice, as well as create short-form content and photography for all of their social channels.
Make The Work created a product-launch video for the Organon 9 Worlds card deck created by artist and prop/set stylist Rebecca Purcell. Purcell has designed a card deck in the tradition of the Tarot, but focused on the creative process, and referencing a new cosmology that uses aesthetic attraction to determine what cards are chosen.
Firefly engaged Make The Work to develop and execute content and product photography for the launch of their new vaporizer. MTW led the development and strategy of the new campaign and produced the short-form videos and seamless hero photography.
